Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 1, 2026

This page is maintained by Platinum Puppy™ Village to explain, in plain language, what information we collect from families, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to this website, the Platinum Puppy™ Family Portal, and our intake forms.

Information we collect

Account information. When you create a Family Portal account we collect your email address and an encrypted password. We never store your password in readable form.

Family intake information. If you complete the Platinum Puppy™ Family Intake, we collect the information you enter, which may include parent names, home address, phone numbers, household members (including children's first names and ages), other animals in the home, veterinary contact details, emergency-care authorization, your puppy's details, your goals and routines, communication preferences, and your electronic signature.

Technical information. Standard server logs such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, used to keep the site secure and working.

Children's information

This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly allow anyone under 18 to create an account. Where a parent or guardian chooses to list a child's first name and age in the intake so that we can plan safely around the household, that information is provided by the adult, is used only for program planning and safety, is never sold, and is deleted on request.

How we use information

To prepare for and deliver your puppy's program; to communicate with you using the method you selected; to coordinate emergency veterinary care if you authorized it; to keep records of agreements and signatures; and to operate, secure, and improve the site.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

How information is stored and protected

Family records are stored in an access-controlled database. Intake records are bound to your signed-in account: only your account and authorized program staff can read them. Data is encrypted in transit. Access by staff is limited to those who need it to deliver the program.

Service providers

We use third parties to host the site, store data, send email, and (where applicable) process payments. These providers process information only on our instructions.

How long we keep information

We keep intake and program records for as long as your family participates and for up to seven years afterward for recordkeeping, then delete or anonymize them. You may ask us to delete sooner, subject to any records we must legally retain.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, or object to certain uses. You can also opt out of non-essential email at any time. To make a request, email Hello@DogsNU.org. We will respond within 45 days and will not treat you differently for asking.

Cookies

We use only the cookies and local storage needed to keep you signed in and to keep the site secure. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes materially we will update the date above and notify account holders by email. Questions: Hello@DogsNU.org.
